The Bible reveals not only what we believe but what we do as a church. In his teaching the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of our accountability to one another within local churches as do the apostles and other writers of the New Testament. Therefore we take Church membership seriously.   It is the way we formally express our commitment to one another and to working together as a church for the kingdom of Christ.

Membership is a formal declaration of belonging to your local church. The new member agrees to care for, love, serve and take responsibility for the local church, and accepts the local church’s care, love, service and responsibility for them.

Members are thus expected to be active participants in all church programs and to contribute to the realising the vision of the church.  They are further expected to join any of the different church ministries, help prospective members to settle as we mutually pursue the development of our faith in Jesus Chrst. We encourage all regular attenders of LFBC to become members.

A membership course is offered for all new members. Please contact Church Office for more information at
